What to bring
what should i bring with me?
Please wear your swimsuit under your clothes. Have warm clothes and a towel for after the tour. A thin toque or hat for colder days can be worn under the helmet. Your belongings can be stored in our change facilities, in the office, on the bus or in your own car while you are on the river. Sunscreen is great on a hot day, avoid putting it above or near your eyes. Remember your body will be mostly covered by our rafting layers and equipment.
can i wear sunglasses or CONTACT LENSES?
If your glasses are essential to being able to safely participate and see the amazing views please bring them along with a secure sports band. We can provide tape or string if needed. If your glasses are not essential please leave them in your car as to not risk damaging or loosing them.
Contact lenses shouldn’t impact your trip if you are comfortable swimming with them on. Please let your guide know.

CAN I BRNG MY OWN WETSUIT OR SAFETY EQUIPMENT?
No, we provide everything for the rafting trip.
WHAT IF I'M ALLERGIC TO NEOPRENE?
Unfortunately a wetsuit is required to raft. The river is still quite cold. To help protect your skin you may wear nylon tights and a thin synthetic shirt under the neoprene.
CAN I BRING MY OWN CAMERA or Gopro
We often say, “If you would be really sad to lose or break your personal item, then you should leave it on the bus”. You are free to bring your own GoPro on any trip, but understand we are not responsible for any lost or damage that could occur. If you are bringing your own GoPro, you may ask to use a helmet with a GoPro mount already secured. You may bring your own camera on the Scenic Float trip to capture the stunning mountain scenery and any possible wildlife sightings you may see.
Each whitewater trip is followed by a photographer who will get you some awesome shots that you can review and purchase for $20 after your trip.

SHOULD I TIP THE GUIDE?
Tips are not expected but are certainly appreciated. If you think your guide did a wonderful job and would like to indicate that with a tip, it will be graciously accepted.
